The MasterRoc EQ 512 PK 1/2" black mechanical packers that are zinc-coated steel mechanical installer packers with lubricant type fittings

Intended for use in high-pressure polyurethane and synthetic grout injection implementations to prevent leakage of water. MasterRoc EQ 512 PK Mechanical Packer 1/2" black helps tinted moisture repair for cracked concrete. MasterRoc EQ 512 PK Mechanical Packer 1/2" black also provides safety against water flow through small cracks in concrete buildings which can be stopped or slowed. MasterRoc EQ 512 PK Mechanical Packer 1/2" blacks intravenous administration into previously reconditioned cracking of concrete that require additional chemical waterproofing. Storm pipe, culvert joint capsules, power distribution underground bunkers, and manholes all be sealed with MasterRoc EQ 512 PK Mechanical Packer 1/2" black.

Uses:

Drill a hole into the concrete at an angle of 45� to the surface.The depth of the hole should be approximately one half of the thickness of the concrete, drilled away from the center of the crack. The hole must intersect with the crack towards the center. The size (diameter) of the hole is determined by the sizeof the packer (1/2 in. (13 mm) or 5/8 in. (16 mm)) Flush drill holes with water before inserting the packers Place the packer into the hole (with the sleeve going in first and the grease connector facing outside). The top of the sleeve should be just below the concrete surface. Secure the packer in place by tightening with a wrench until it is snug fit. Do not over tighten the parker, as this may stress weak concrete and cause a leak around the packer Space the holes/packers approximately 6 in. to 3 ft (150 mm to 900 mm) apart, depending on the width of the crack Flush the cracks by injecting clean water through each packer prior to injecting chemical grout, to flush any contaminants and to facilitate good bonding of the chemical grouts Begin the chemical grout injection at the lowest packer on vertical cracks, working up or on one side on horizontal cracks, working across Injection pressure may vary from 250 to 2500 psi (1.7 to 17 MPa), depending on the width of the crack, thickness and the condition of the concrete Continue injecting till the grout appears at the adjacent packer. Then stop injecting, disconnect from the packer, and move on to the next packer Once chemical grouting is completed, re-inject each packer with clean water to cure the grout Once the chemical grout is cured, remove the packers by unscrewing or pulling them out or simply breaking off Fill drilled packer holes with an approved cement mortar or epoxy gel type material
